PORTFOLIO
Illustrations of my interpretation of the short novel "Call of Cthulhu" written by H.P Lovecraft.
For this project I illustrated traditionally what I believe was unfolding in the climax of the 'Call of Cthulhu' inspired by artists such as David Finch and Alex Ross. I then took the images and levelled them over worn and withered textures I had created to define the illusion of the pages being old and tattered.

THE DOOM SLAYER
After playing and enjoying the video game 'DOOM ETERNAL' I was inspired by the chaotic atmosphere of the game and therefore tried to capture the carnage in a pen and ink drawing influenced heavily by artists such as David Finch and Brian Bolland in a home project.

Magazine Project
After writing the script for a Batman comic, I drew several pages in pencil and then finalised them in pen and ink as comic artists do. This project required me to draw textures that I would never normally draw and objects that I would also never normally study which has broadened my range of artistic ability.

Film Poster Project
Below is a number of designs and illustration based on the Interstellar movie 'Melancholia'. I incorporated flat landscape designs which relied on different tonal shades of the base colours to distinguish distance and depth in the poster.

The Box Project
I was tasked with decorating a cardboard box with a political statement. I decided to illustrate my interpretation of the hypocrisy of the church and how I believe it is corrupt, demonstrated by the image below.

The Architecture Project
The following images are media designs for a college project which involved using the surrounding college architecture to develop material for a architecture based exhibition.

Font Man
Font Man is the embodiment of my typography project in which I had to give character to a type face. As a result I decided to utilize the 'comic sans' font which is notoriously known as being a terrible font and give it a hero presence in an act of irony. This drawing was based on artists such as Jim Lee and Greg Capullo who are some of the leading artists in the comic book industry.

Analytical Drawing
Below is my five-hour observational drawing that was required of me for my coursework in graphics. I decided to do a pencil study as I could use the differences in tone by pressing herder to illustrate the gradients and shadows in the drawing.
